On what date is Quebec's Fete Nationale held?

The Canadian year begins with New Year's Day on 1 January. Sir John A. Macdonald Day follows on 11 January. Good Friday falls on the Friday immediately before Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday on the Monday immediately after it, so those two dates move each year. Vimy Day is 9 April. Victoria Day is the Monday before 25 May and also marks the Sovereign's Birthday. In Quebec, the Fete Nationale is 24 June, the Feast of St. John the Baptist.

Canada Day is 1 July, the biggest national celebration of the year. Labour Day is the first Monday of September, and Thanksgiving Day the second Monday of October. Remembrance Day is 11 November, when Canadians honour those who died in war. Sir Wilfrid Laurier Day falls on 20 November. The year closes with Christmas Day on 25 December and Boxing Day on 26 December. Two of these dates honour former prime ministers: Macdonald in January and Laurier in November.
