Voting is a right and a responsibility at the same time. Canadians have the right to vote, and with that right comes the duty to use it. There are three levels where a citizen votes. The first is federal, for the national government. The second is provincial or territorial. The third is local, for the government of the town or city. A responsible citizen takes part at all three levels, not only in the large national election.
