Manitoba earns its living from three main things: agriculture, mining and generating hydro-electric power. Winnipeg is its most populous city. In Winnipeg's Exchange District you find Portage and Main, the most famous street intersection in Canada. The city also has a French Quarter called St. Boniface. Its Francophone community numbers about 45,000, the largest in Western Canada.
